Borneo is the third largest island in the world (after Greenland and New Guinea). It is located in Southeast Asia and is divided between Indonesia, Malaysia and Brunei. The name of the Indonesian part is Kalimantan while the Malaysian section is usually called East Malaysia. Malaysian Borneo is further divided into the administrative regions of Sabah (North-East) and Sarawak (South-West), and a small semi-autonomous island called Labuan. Brunei is a small country occupying part of the island's northwestern coast - separating Sabah and Sarawak.
