Hiraodai karst plateau in Kokura Minami ward, Kitakyushu - note the total absence of smokestacks and chimneys. Contrary to what some ill-informed guidebooks say, Kitakyushu is not just an industrial city. This scene is 30-40 minutes by car from Kokura Station.
