Get in

There is no airport near Koh Kong.

From Cambodia

Koh Kong is linked to Phnom Penh and Sihanoukville via Sre Ambel by the National Route 4. This road is declared an all-season road but is only partially tarred so the condition depends much on the weather. It will take at least 6 hours to Sihanoukville and 7 hours to Phnom Penh. It`s a scenic drive through some of Cambodia`s least developed and unspoiled regions. Minibus services leave Koh Kong regularly to both towns, expect to pay about US$8 for the bumpy ride. The other option is a daily speed-boat to Sihanoukville (US$ 12) which leaves early in the morning, so plan ahead.

From Thailand

The Thailand border crossing is a few km west of the town. Motos (US$1 plus toll for a bridge)and taxis go between the border post and the town/ port.
