Ons Stijlhandboek is een collectie van vuistregels en guidelines om Wikitravel een consistent uiterlijk te geven. De meeste van deze regels hebben uitzonderingen, maar ze vormen een goede referentie voor het samenwerken. Het is altijd best deze regels te volgen, tenzij ze echt niet toepasbaarzijn voor een specifieke situatie.
Het handboek is opgedeeld in verschillende paginas zodat de deze niet overladen wordt met informatie. Dit zorgt er ook voor dat het gemakkelijker is om één regel of concept te veranderen als het op zijn eigen pagina staat. En het is ook makkelijker voor zageventen om naar een specifieke pagina te linken wanneer er een regel overtreden wordt.
Indien je volledig in de war raakt door alles wat hier staat of je wilt er niets mee te maken hebben, laat niets je stoppen om erin te duiken en je kennis te delen. Andere Wikireizigers zullen je toevoegingen aanpassen om in overeenstemming te zijn met het stijlhandboek.

Writing style
This set of rules describes how to write words, sentences, and paragraphs.

- Neutrality of medium -- referring to the medium the article is in
- First person pronouns -- avoid using "I", "we", and their ilk
- Second person pronouns -- using "you" and friends is ok
