Beira is the second largest city in Mozambique and capital of the Beira Province.

By plane
Beira International Airport (BEW) is about 10km out of the town, and can be easily reaced by bus and taxi.
The airport has a shop, bar, restaurant and post office.
There is a departure tax of U$10 (U$20 if travelling out of Africa), payable after check-in.
