This district, comprising the suburbs of Kurla, Vidyavihar, Ghatkopar, Vikhroli, Kanjur Marg, Bhandup, Mulund, has developed quite a bit in the past few decades. All of them are railway stations on the Central line. Kurla is also an interchange point for the Harbour line. This is a middle-class residential area which is getting more middle-class by the year as factories are being shifted out and being replaced by shopping malls and apartment blocks.

Do not forget to visit the Malls in Mulund. Nirmal Lifestyle is one of the best mall in India and also one of the biggest, R Mall is another good mall in Mulund.

Huma Mall on LBS Road,Kanjur west. Not much parking space but since most of the crowd is at Nirmal Lifestyle, you can buy at leisure.Good brands available.
