Coba Travel Guide
From Wikitravel
Coba is a less-touristed ruin site, but it is fully equipped with restaurants, guides, W/C, etc. You can rent bikes or hire someone to bike you around this large ancient city (over 2kms to the large pyramid from the entrance). The large pyramid at this site (nearly 80 feet tall) is an impressive building and, unlike heavily touristed sites like Tulum, you can actually climb it for a panoramic view of the surrounding forest. There are several other buildings of interest including an ancient gallery of carved stellae, an astronomical observatory and other buildings.
