Culross is a charming village some 10 miles west of Dunfermline, in Fife. It has a palace, abbey and many fine and restored buildings from the 16th and 17th century.

It is easily reached from Edinburgh and GLasgow, and is well worth a one day trip[.

The Palace, Study and Town House are in the care of the National Trust for Scotland.
