Ellesmere Island is an island in Nunavut, Canada.

The world's tenth largest island, Ellesmere Island only has one small community called Grise Fiord. All other communities on the island are either militarily or scientifically based. The community of Grise Fiord is only available by flying up from Resolute Bay on Cornwallis Island.
