Understand
Ganghwa is separated from the Korean mainland by a narrow channel, spanned by several bridges. North Korea is just a few km away from the north coast of the island.

There are frequent direct buses from Seoul's Sinchon Bus Terminal. Local buses also connect to Gimpo (the city, not the airport).
