Get in
- From Central China: You can reach Golmud by road or rail, the usual route being Xian-Lanzhou-Xining-Golumd.
- From Tibet:
- There is regular bus service from Lhasa to Golmud.
- The new Qinghai-Tibet railway also connects Lhasa and Golmud.
- Golmud has an airport, so you can also fly in.
