Stradom is a part of Krakow in Poland. It is in the district Centrum south east of the Old Town.

Understand
In the Middle Ages the houses of the Stradom were made of wood and poorer craftsmen lived there. The north brench of the Vistula river was flowing there until the 19th century - now the Dietl Parkway and Old Vistuala Street (ul. Starowislna). There are a lot of fine 19th century houses, the Vistuala Boulevards, three baroque churches, a monastry, the Pusatow Palace, two cinemas (ul. sw. Gertrudy and Dietl Parkway) and one museum (ul. sw. Sebastiana) in this part of town.

Churches
- Bernardine Church - was biult in gothic style and destroyed during the Swedish deluge in 1655. The present baroque basilica has been biult between 1670 and 1680. It has a beautiful interior and an unique altar as well as valuable 18th century paintings. In St. Anne's Chapel is a 15th century figure of St. Anne with the Virgin and Child made by Veit Stoss's workshop.
- St Paul's Conversion Church - was biult in 1719 although the first stone was set up in 1682 in late baroque style. The church was designed by Kacper Bazanka who used mirrors inside the church to optically magnifying its space. There are also six baroque chapels inside the church.
- St Agnes Church - was build in the middle of the 15th century in gothic style. After the Swedish deluge it was rebiult in baroque style.
