Lower Mainland Travel Guide
From Wikitravel
The Lower Mainland is in British Columbia, Canada. The actual boundaries of this region are contentious depending on whom you speak to: some say it is only Greater Vancouver, some say it stretches to Abbotsford or even Hope in the east. For simplicity it is used here to describe the area from Vancouver in the west to the town of Hope in the east, and from the American border to the south, to the town of Whistler and the Sunshine Coast to the north.
