Get in

Most of Maibara's visitors come in by train and never see more than the station. A major junction, Maibara is along the Tokaido Shinkansen line from Osaka and Kyoto to Nagoya and Tokyo (2 hours), and also the eastern terminus of the shinkaisoku rapid commuter trains from the Kansai region.
