Mykolayivs'ka is an oblast' (administrative division) in southern part of Ukraine.

  • Population - 1,264,000 (2,5% of Ukraine), Area - 26400 sq.km (4.6% of Ukraine).
  • Founded on September 22, 1937. In present borders since 1959.
  • Rivers and their lengths in the oblast': Pivdennyj Buh (257 km), Ingul (179 km), Ingulets (96 km).
  • Continental climate with mild winter (average temperature -2C) and dry hot summer (+22C). Precipitation 330-450 mm/year.
  • Main cities: Mykolayiv, Pervomajs'k, Voznesens'k, Pivdennoukrains'k, Ochakiv
