Understand

The Northern Cape Province was once united with the Western Cape and Eastern Cape (which were jointly known as the Cape Province). With the downfall of the Apartheid regime they were split up. The Northern Cape is a very dry less populated region. Only the little industry and tourism and some agriculture help the people here to substain some form of life. But of course there are also some wealthy and good situated people here.
