Plitivce National Park Travel Guide
From Wikitravel
Europe : Mediterranean Europe : Croatia : Dalmatia : Plitivce National Park
Plitivce National Park is in Croatia. This is an amazing place. Sort of like Yosemite with absolutely no one in it. The waterfalls are pristine as are the forests. If god lives somewhere its Plitviche. I've been told that the pasrtisans under both Tito and Mihilovich were HQd there. Its in the middle of nowhere but worth the trip. The drive from Dubrovnil is astounding. The Adriatic is probably like the Mediterranean was in 1800. A stop in one of the tourist hotels in Zadar is nice especially on the way to Venice.
