  • The Cathedral, early romanic then modified in the centuries, on the hill neighboring the Vistula, in town centre.
  • The remnants of Cazimir's Castle, facing the Cathedral.
  • Masovian Museum, in Ul. Tumska - a collection of Art Deco furniture and paintings.
  • Stary Rinek, the City Hall square. City Hall is intersting, the place has a certain interest.
  • Strolling in the no-traffic area (Ul Tumska to Stary Rinek).

Many zapiekanka stands, especially in the center (typical 2 zloty). Kebab restaurants popping up lately (expect 15 - 20 zloty, less at the stands).

Stay safe

People interested in searching lost places should visit the former transmitter site of Gabin-Konstantynow, situated at 52°22'14" North and 19°48'23" East, where from 1974 to 1991 world's tallest structure stood. There are still the basement of the tower and some parts of it at the site.
