Saaremaa has only one city on it, so you can enioy the rural countryside, most main events take place in Kuressaare, but we love the outdoors and like to be in church yards, churches, fortresses, strongholds, just on lonly islands around Saaremaa etc.

By Sea

There is ferry [2] connection to main land from island of Muhu (bridge between Saaremaa and Muhu). You can also take ferry to island nearby, Hiiumaa and to Latvian city of Ventspils.

Beautiful island of Muhu [3] is located east of Saaremaa. There is a bridge between these two islands.
