Cities and Regions

The list of cities is starting to get a bit long. As there are over 1000 potential listings here, I thought it appropriate to build out the sub-state regions. I subdivided as follows:

• Franconia - because it links the next 3 regions logically.
  • Upper Franconia (Oberfranken)
  • Middle Franconia (Mittelfranken)
  • Lower Franconia (Unterfranken)
• Swabia (Schwaben)
• Upper Palatinate (Oberpfalz)
• Upper Bavaria (Oberbayern)
• Lower Bavaria (Niederbayern)

I think the cities listed here should be limited to the capitals of each region, with others going onto their region page instead. Meaning the city list should stay under 10. -- Huttite 03:42, 28 Dec 2005 (EST)

The cities list is getting quite long again. I think most should be bumped down to their relevant (presently non-existent) region pages. The five major cities I would recommend keeping here are Munich, Augsburg, Nuremberg, Regensburg and Würzburg. -- Brendio 11:21, 22 Jan 2006 (EST)

Bavarian food

There is a separate article Bavarian food which I think is not very useful yet. Should we integrate it into this article? I could contribute a bit to this, but I am not sure how it should look like in the main article. --Flip666 16:47, 7 April 2006 (EDT)
