Get in
Telegraph Cove is located approximately 349km north east of Nanaimo, 14km east of highway 19 (Inland Island Highway). Driving to Telegraph Cove from Nanaimo will take you just over four hours.
Get around
Everything within Telegraph Cove can be seen on foot. While not perfectly wheelchair friendly, it is handicap accessible. The entire village can be walked across in around five minutes.

- Kayak — If you are looking for wildlife, Telegraph Cove is an excellent site to begin a kayak trip. Orca whales, bald eagles, porpoises, grizzly bears, seals, cougars, and salmon can be found along the coast. A kayak is an ideal way to explore the islands along Johnstone Straight. Kayak rentals are available.

Telegraph Cove has limited opportunities to spend money with a small general store and a couple of small shops that sell art, postcards, or fishing supplies.
