Get in
The area is well serviced by streetcars, subways, taxis and rickshaws. It should be very possible to walk to here from any place downtown within approximately half an hour.
Parking in the area is very expensive, and there are always traffic jams late at night.
See
The area is well known for the Roy Thompson Hall, Royal Alexandria Theatre and Canadas Walk of Fame, where visitors can see most of Canadas very famous names (Martin Short for example).
Do
The area has many dance clubs.
There is a large movie theatre (the Paramount) at John and Richmond. The Paramount plays first run movies. These are generally American movies, and the release dates coincide with American releases, and occasionally they will play some Canadian movies.
Buy
There is a portion of King street just East of Spadina which has some stores (notably the Mountain Equipment Coop) for shopping.
Eat
For a good cheap meal, try the burritos at Burrito Boys just south of Peter and Ricmond.
Drink
Clubland has a wide variety of Clubs, mostly along Richmond and Adelaide Streets, but there are some on the side streets. The clubs don't generally last very long. In many places, every year a new club opens in the same location with a new name.
