Neat Experiences:

• Drinking whisky whilst listening to music and playing cards in Tehran, Iran, 2005, during a mourning period; all players wearing hats I got from Afghanistan and Pakistan.
• Eventually getting out of Kyrgyzstan after the country tried to kill me 3 times, 2005 (2 attempts by bad drivers to fall of snowy mountain passes, 1 attempt by border police extortion).
