From Wikitravel
Hi Bob,
Welcome to Wikitravel. Please take a sec to look at our copyleft and policies and guidelines, but feel free to plunge forward and edit some pages. Scanning the Manual of style, especially the article templates, can give you a good idea of how we like articles formatted. If you need help, check out Wikitravel:Help, and if you need some info not on there, post a message in the travellers' pub.
Nice pictures of Cambridge. I shortened the captions a bit and unlinked the individual attractions, because Wikitravel douesn't usually have articles about individual attractions (see Article naming conventions and What is an article). Also, the Wikitravel:Image policy says that we should only use minimal images. But Cambridge is quite photogenic, so I'll try spreading them out a bit and see how it looks.
Although the Maths Department is quite an interesting design, it isn't that striking in a photo, and quite hard to find. Do you have any pictures of the Law Faculty or Emmanuel's Queen's Building as well? DanielC 06:27, 21 May 2005 (EDT)
Image Policy
Thank you for your photographic contributions to wikitravel! Please check out Wikitravel:Image policy especially the section entitled People in photos for why we generally don't want photos of people, and in the rare case where we have photos of people we require a model release. -- Colin 14:02, 21 May 2005 (EDT)
