My name is Ricardo and I live in Brasília, the strange-but-nice capital of Brazil. I've travelled a bit through some of South America (a lot within my own country), Europe and the USA - New York (city) and Washington (D.C.).
I like to take pictures of things and places rather than people. My Flickr page has some of the shots I've taken more (or less) recently, but most of them would be useless for MaxTravelz because I'm not into the postcard kind of pics. I've just bought a (Lomo) Action Sampler camera too, and I'm really eager to get my first shots developed soon.
Last trip: spent a long weekend in Minas Gerais and got to know the very pretty town of Tiradentes and also São João del Rei, both of which I truly recommend for those travelling in the region.
The use of English prepositions is my Kryptonite - I'm powerless against it.

- Turkey - Istanbul and Cappadocia
- Southern Italy - Naples, Campania and definitely some of Apulia too
- Dublin for a couple of days
- Londinium
I'm travelling with a friend and we are arranging everything independently. If you have any useful hints on those places, please feel free to leave me a message any time.
Next on my wishlist
Portuguese MaxTravelz
I am also working on setting up the Portuguese-language version of MaxTravelz that started here. I've been helping on the translation of many of the project pages and on the creation specific policies too - a hard and low-paying job that is also gratifying.
As go-between for that version of MaxTravelz, I'll have to prepare some monthly reports to let users of other language versions of MaxTravelz know about what's going on there.
